4017. That's how many standard tft monitors you'd need to place next to each other to represent the solar system accurately if Pluto was just 1 pixel wide.

Our Solar system is vast. And hopefully soon, so will this website. Updated today: Portfolio. Feel free to check it out.
April 21st 3:45pm, April 22nd 12:10am 2007First Vista thoughts — at Strood, Kent
My good friend David asked me round this weekend to put together a new PC for him. The build didn't take too long and I came out unscathed (don't ask) thanks largely to the very nice Antec case he'd bought. Installing Vista was very simple, there were only 3 select boxes and a button to click during the entire install. Vista installed within 15 minutes and within 20 minutes had also installed all of the devices, bar the audio and graphics hardware. A quick download from their respective sites and we were up and running. (If you're curious, Vista scored his systems performance a 5.0). My first impressions with Vista are good. The interface has been very nicely sexed up and there's lots of new great features. A lot of old options have been moved about which would take some getting used to, but I think I'll enjoy getting it myself when I buy a new PC. We spent at least double the number of hours as that all took trying to get a USB wireless dongle work on an old XP PC. Unfortunately, we never succeeded.

January 27th 12:00am, 12:00am 2007Coming Soon... — at London
Those of you who visit regularly will notice a bit of a change. I've applied a few more styles, tidied up the IE warning box (For those of you who still persist in using it), and I've split out some of the sections into their own pages. Within the next few weeks I hope to make some additions to the site, namely a catalogue of DVD's and Games which I own. These will go into a database, along with the news and events (this will stop me having to update the passed events manually!) I then hope to tie this into amazon so if you see something you like from my collection you have an easy click to purchase it! Coming after that will be a photo album tie in through flickr and a ‘Place's I've been’ map using the google maps api. Stay tuned...
January 6th 12:00am, 12:00am 2007New year — at London
The new year's here, so here's the first wizpip related news story of 2007! I have spent some time optimising content which included renaming some Spring staff images with the persons full name. I want to see if this will promote these images in the google image search. Unrelated to the site, my Christmas tree has come down today and the windows have been cleaned. Roll on spring! As a point of interest, it's my birthday on the 20th of this month, so get on over to my links page where you'll find my Amazon wishlist.
December 24th 12:00am, 12:00am 2006Christmas Eve — at London
So here we are, the day before Christmas and I finally have some time to work on the site. I've added a few more styles to make it feel a little better. Now it looks a little less amateurish. Tomorrow I'll be going over to my mums house for all the wonderful foods, and the company of course. After lunch on Boxing day we'll be over to Hannah's for the same reasons. Then, back here on thursday evening. Friday I shall be working from home... so this is in a way my only time off!
December 8th 12:00am, 12:00am 2006Christmas Party and Wii — at London
Spring had its Christmas party today which was pretty good. Lunch was on a narrow boat, the evening was spent in a nice little pub somewhere near Paddington. Upon arriving home I unpackaged my newly arrived Nintendo Wii console and played a few of the Wii sports. Great stuff!
